The poster was printed on several different kinds of paper in a very, very low run. Doug Sahm's Midnite Show was added at the bottom to only some of the posters made. A very rare gem indeed.
This poster goes right to the heart and soul of the Austin music and art scene. Jim Franklin is one of the most revered of the Armadillo World Headquarter artists. Plus, the Ritz is a beloved fixture on Austin's famous Sixth Street with more music history than you can shake a ‘dillo at.
