comment #2: Louis Bustos is playing berry(?). A berry is probably a bariton sax.
Sas Gonzales is "Sauce" Gonzales.
from the liner notes: "There were two sets. One featured a reunion of the original Sir Douglas Quintet, back together for the first time in many years, and subsequently released on Sonet as "Wanted Very Much Alive - The Sir Douglas Quintet" (SNTF 804). The rest of the evening involved Doug and a virtual "who is who" of the musicians he's been involved with in Texas, including Augie Meyers and several members of Doug's great band in the seventies, The Texas Tornados - Jack Barber, George Rains, Harry Hess, Louis Bustos, John Reed and Atwood Allen."
