excerpt from the liner notes on the CD: Boudin (pronounced kinda like boo-DAHN, for our non-Cajun friends) is a unique sausage made of pork, rice, onions and seasoning. We love it spicy and steamin' hot...a Cajun taste treat that's fun to eat! And this band loves to eat! (Someone once suggested changing our name to "Half-A-Ton-Of-Fun")
But The Boudin Kings are also a bunch of fun-music lovers. The songs on this album are some favorites of ours and audiences wherever we play. We love the different flavors from song to song, and we had a ball, ya'll, trying to season and spice each one just right.
There were lots of magic moments for us in the making of this album, and we hope we caught them on tape for you. The magic was in the fun we had doin' all that twangin', bangin', scratchin' and sangin'. So have some fun with us ol' Boodangs, TURN IT UP LOUD and let's PARTY GRAS!
