| info from eBay (Doug Hanners) | This is another acetate from my collection that Huey Meaux gave me many years ago. It's been awhile since I listened to a copy of this 45, Sugar Bee/Blue Norther, Pacemaker #260 but this acetate mix sounds different to me and I noticed they spelled the song title wrong, Blue Northern not Norther. But again no promises on the mix or song length as the memory is not what it used to be! Still it's still a unique item from Texas' legendary rock/country superstar released in the mid 1960's and the first 45 Sir Doug did with Huey. In near mint to very good plus condition. After this disc I have 4 more different acetates to list from Sir Doug and Huey that have been in my collection for years. I mention this as a few collectors have asked me if I have more. Get them while you can, true rarities from some old friends and Texas music legends. |
