- The first of the four Coffee Creek shows.
- From the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on 12/19/91:
"Fresh Brew: Uncle Tupelo members Jay Farrar, Jeff Tweedy and Mike Heidorn will jam with ex-Chicken Trucker Brian Henneman as the group Coffee Creek in a concert at 9:30 p.m. Dec. 21 at Cicero's, 6510 Delmar Boulevard. Tony Margherita, manager of Coffee Creek, advised us not to expect the usual Tupelo or Henneman material. ''Coffee Creek will be doing country music covers, anything from Hank Williams to George Jones. It's Christmas time and they want to do something fun.'' Margherita said the new year will include ''huge plans'' for Uncle Tupelo. ''They'll be doing lots of touring, and will have a new release. And Brian's talking to some record labels, too,'' he said. ''We're hoping he'll have a record out in the next few months.'' The Atomic Fossils will open."
