......If Green is an obscure artist, then Junior Parker is at the other end of the spectrum. With a huge catalogue of quality blues recordings to his credit, he managed the move into the soul era better than most of his contemporaries. His flexible voice was more suited to gospel chord changes, and "Lovin' Man On Your Hands" is one of a series of funky tracks he cut at various studios on his travels through the south.
