comments:

  1. Various soundboard recordings of this concert are circulating:
A 3-discs set; a 2-discs set; a set without “Mr Tambourine Man”; a set without “Kentucky Waltz” and “Big Boss Man” are circulating.
It's a decent sound quality although a bit overloaded and harsh sounding in some spots.
  2. Jerry Garcia and Phil Lesh are from the Grateful Dead and were in town that day. They had a day off in their own tour.
  3. DISCoveries magazine, March 1996 issue, contains a feature article on the life and times of the famed, lamented Armadillo World Headquarters music venue of Austin, Texas. Illustrating the article is an intriguing photograph purportedly from an Armadillo concert on 11-23-72
